Ele Academy was born out of a simple observation: anyone can tell a story. Not everyone can draw. AI changed that — and we’re here to show you how.
We didn’t plan a school. We planned a comic.
Ele Studios started as a publishing house — a place to make AI-illustrated stories that actually matter. Stories about things teenagers are living through but nobody talks about. Mental health. Social media. The pressure to be perfect.
Then something happened. Every time we showed people what we were building, the first question was always the same: “How did you make that?”
So we built a school to answer that question properly. Ele Academy is that answer.

Editor, reader, occasional thinker. Has been asking why comics matter since before algorithms tried to draw them. Teaches philosophy and history by day — which, it turns out, is not entirely unrelated.

The one who decides what gets published and why. Has been thinking about stories longer than he’s been thinking about AI. Teaches maths during the day, which somehow helps.

AI is a tool, not a shortcut
Generating an image takes a second. Knowing what to generate — and why — takes skill. That’s what we teach.
Stories matter more than technique
A technically perfect comic with nothing to say is just a screensaver. We start with story, always.
Beginners deserve good teaching
Most tutorials assume you already know things. We don’t. We start from zero and take you seriously from the first session.
Small is fine
We’re not trying to be a platform. We want a tight community of people who actually make things and care about what they make.
We don’t just teach it. We do it.
Ele Academy is part of Ele Studios — an independent AI comics publisher. We publish original graphic novels, illustrated entirely with generative AI and directed with the same care you’d expect from any serious publisher.
This means two things for you. First: what we teach actually works — we use it ourselves. Second: the best student work has a real chance of being published. Not as a marketing promise. As an actual thing that happens.
